Serendipitee - Bespoke Design Requests

Choosing the perfect tiara or piece of jewellery to complete your dream dress or outfit is, to coin a phrase 'the icing on the cake'. Whatever you choose, it needs to complement everything you've already chosen and mesh with the style and theme you've piece by piece been putting together. This is the case, whether you're looking for a statement item or a subtle accessory. If you've not been able to find something suitable, maybe a bespoke design will fit the bill?

Creating something new and innovative is what every designer loves best. We relish the opportunity to work closely with our customers to create something unique and special. We think it is essential that we are able to build a friendly rapport with you, to share your thoughts and ideas and to really understand how you want your design to look and feel. We'd be delighted to talk through your ideas and to see if we can expand on them with you. Our design process (outlined below) has helped us on many occasions to come up with some beautiful & inspired designs.

Serendipitee - Design Process

1. Initial discussion of ideas, thoughts, themes etc.

2. Face to Face discussion OR Bride posts/e-smail wedding scrapbook

3. Written brief produced & agreed (includes quote). 25% deposit Required to cover materials.

4. Mock up produced, discussion & review. Final payment of 75%.

5. Final design produced and dispatched.

As every item is built to order and to allow for review and discussion to take place, following agreement of the written brief we require 6 weeks to produce the mock-up. Following final payment, we require a further 4 weeks to complete the final design.

About our materials

We use our favourite and some of the most beautiful materials available to make our designs. Unless otherwise stated our wire work and core frames are Silver or Gold Plated. We are able to source non tarnish silver wire which can be useful if you need to keep your design for a long time before your wedding takes place. Our haircombs & grips are all silver or gold coloured only.

Traditionally we use Swarovski Crystal 'Bicones' in both 4mm & 6mm sizes. However for bespoke designs we will often look to use other shapes and sizes. Our non-coloured crystals are all 'AB' which have a distinctive sparkly appearance. Our current range of coloured crystals include:

Freshwater pearls are featured in many of our designs, and due to their very nature vary in size, shape and marginally in colour.
